Om Prakash Kohli,BJP’s senior leader from Delhi unit and acedemician has been appointed as regular governor of Gujarat. Kohli, a former Rajya Sabha member and Delhi unit BJP president. He will replace Margaret Alva Governor In-Charge fo Gujarat. Kohli will assume office as Gujarat Governor very soon.
He looks forward to ensure the functioning of the constitutional machinery in smooth manner. “For the larger good of people of the state, good relations with the elected government are necessary. I will do my best through the elected government with a positive approach and act according to the constitutional responsibilities,” while defining his priority he said.
