Declaration for the by-elections to be held on 3rd November for 8 vacant seats of Gujarat Legislative Assembly will be released from tomorrow, October 9. Process of filling up nomination forms will start as soon as the declaration by ECI Election Commision of India is issued.
Forms can be filled till 16th October. ECI has issued some guidelines for the elections to be held during Coronavirus pandemic, In which the candidate will be able to file his nomination in Online manner. Candidate has to take required oath before the local election authority before 17th October.
