Nitin Patel to be assigned important ministry assured Amit Shah
Today morning in Ahmedabad, Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat Nitin Patel held a press conference at his residence.
In an interview to media he said I am loyal to my party and would not resign from BJP. I have worked for 40 years for the party and 25 years as an MLA, I was firstly assigned health ministry in 1993.
Patel further clarified that I am not unhappy with the party but I have number 2 post in the cabinet, so I express my feeling to high command that I may be given a befitting ministry to the dignity of my post. In turn BJP party president Amitbhai had called me up in the morning and assured me of doing needful. So I am going to Gandhinagar at 11:39 am. Vijaybhai will write a letter to Governor to this effect. I am expecting to have important ministry.
Nitin Patel did not reveal the name of ministry he would be assigned.
Dy CM also said that yesterday Congress and other people started sending offers to me but I have stood by my party during its up and down. I would not resign from the party.
Even, I attended the oath ceremony in Gandhinagar.
Nitin Patel assumed charge in his office at Swarnim Sankul in Shubh Muhurat. He did puja in office. He was welcomed by Ramanlal Vora.
