In Gandhinagar, A high level committee meeting was chaired by Vijay Rupani, Nitin patel, Dr Jayanti Ravi, Anil Mukim and other state officials to discuss on night curfew imposition after directive from Gujarat High Court.
Coronavirus situation is out of control , Gujarat government has finally announced night curfew in 20 cities in state from 8 pm to 6 am with effect from midnight on Wednesday. Thus, night curfew was imposed in almost all urban areas of Gujarat. during December – January after Coronavirus case escalated post Diwali. A meeting of state’s core committee members was held in the evening to implement a partial lockdown in state following a directive from Gujarat High Court. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also discussed the matter with Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel and gave necessary guidance. Rupani and Nitin Patel are also believed to have held talks with Amit Shah on the new strategy as the Corona situation in state has gone out of control in last few days.
