Night curfew in Gujarat from 10 pm as per new guideline

Today In addition to 8 metros and two cities in Gujarat, night curfew will be implemented in 17 more towns as per new guideline.

Hotels and restaurants are allowed to continue home delivery service 24 hours a day.

In the meeting of core committee chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a review was made of transition status of the existing Coronavirus in the state. In the meeting state officials and health minister was present.

At present night curfew is in force in eight metros namely Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar and Gandhinagar besides Anand and Nadiad.

Also, Jetpur, Kalawad, Godhra, Vijalpor (Navsari), Navsari, Bilimora, Vyara, Vapi, Valsad, Bharuch and Ankleshwar decided to implement night curfew from 10 pm to 6 am effective from 22 January, 2022. The current period of 8 night curfew, which ends at 6 am has been extended for another 7 days till 29 January, 2022. Accordingly, the night curfew will now be enforced in 12 towns besides 8 metros every day from 22 January every day from 10 pm to 6 am till 29 January 2022. CM Bhupendra Patel in the core meeting took other important decisions. According to these decisions, home delivery by hotel-restaurant can now be continued for 24 hours. In addition to these restrictions, Home Department’s notification regarding implementation of other restrictions is attached herewith.
