Nidhi Tewari has been appointed as the private secretary to Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi. IFS Indian Foreign Service officer Nidhi Tiwari has been appointed as PM Modi’s private secretary, as per official order issued by the government. According to the memorandum issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on March 29, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Tewari’s appointment with immediate effect.
Nidhi has previously worked in PMO Prime Minister’s Office as Deputy Secretary since November 2022. Earlier she was working as the Under Secretary at MEA Ministry of External Affairs’ Disarmament and International Security Affairs Division.
