In a major breakthrough in the Visakhapatnam espionage case of Indian Navy and defense establishments like BSF, Army in India, NIA the National Investigation Agency on Tuesday said it has arrested the key accused 37 years accused Giteli Imran from Godhra in Panchmahal of Gujarat for his involvement in the espionage activities and working for the Pakistan’s Inter Services Intelligence (ISI). Pakistan hired such agents for spy activities.
14 persons were arrested from Visakhapatnam in year 2019 in the spy case. Imran is said to be prime accused in the case.
Agencies were keeping eye on anti-national elements, says Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on arrest by NIA.
