Newcomers have better Technology and awareness with more exposure says Jwala Gutta in Ahmedabad

Jwala Gutta an Indian Ace professional badminton player and Olympian. who has represented India at international events in both mixed and women’s doubles. She has won 316 matchs in both the disciplines—the most by any Indian—and peaked at no. 6 in the world rankings. Gutta has won medals at numerous tournaments on the BWF circuit including a silver at the 2009 Superseries Masters Finals and a bronze at the 2011 World Championships.


Today Jwala visited Ahmedabad for FICCI FLO (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry-  FICCI Ladies Organization ) (young women enterpreneur) hosted event Beyond Barriers GAME Point with Jwala Gutta, The power to empower. She was a guest at FICCI FLO event in the city.


Jwala interacted with GujaratHeadline Managing Editor and talked very frankly. In a message to women, Jwala said every women should believe in herself. In young age, she took up sports as a career but could succeed after lot of support from her father. Whenever she lost her father taught her to analyse her mistakes and do it better next time. When she took up badminton as a career, there were not many options and there were technological limitations.


In a message to women said that all women should not doubt themselves. Today’s generation can do wonders as now technology is better, awareness is better with more exposure.
