The Narcotics Control Bureau is celebrating the international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on 26th June. As a part of its celebrations the NCB along with RJ Tibrewal commerce college had organised a series of programs on 25th June which are mentioned below:
A group of 100 students rallied around various parts Vastrapur Area, Mansi circle and Alpha one Mall. During the rally the students chanted slogans, sung anti drug songs, distributed pamphlets and displayed banners to spread awareness about drug abuse.
The students also performed Nukkad Natak at Vastrapur lake, Mansi circle which drew the attnetion of the public and bystanders as they experienced the Natak (Street play) and appreciated the same.
At Aplha One, A crowd of around 300 people was drawn by a musical performance by the students of JG College of performing arts, followed by the street play at the mall which was very well received and applauded by the people at the mall.
