Gujarat Government announce to declare special 9 days Navratri vacation in schools and Colleges during Navratri festival.
The decision was taken by Gujarat Government to avoid clash between time of terminal exam in school and college and Naravtri festival.
The decision of Navratri vacation in Gujarat was taken after consulting Gujarat Education minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasma.
Government felt that due to pressure of terminal exams, students are unable to enjoy, a unique identity of Gujarat, Garba. It is a festival of celebration and worshipping of Goddess.
