Finally, Mayaben Kodnani accused of 2002 Naroda Patia gets bail from Gujarat High Court. She was granted 28 years term by SIT Court in August 2012. In Naroda Patia case 97 people were killed. In this case, Mayaben and Babu Bajrangi were chraged for instigating people for communal hatred.
Mayaben had moved High Court on medical ground, due to sufferings from intestinal tuberculosis, heart ailment and spinal problem.A bench of Justice V M Sahai and Justice R P Dholaria granted her bail.
