Narendra Modi addressed BJP/NDA Parliamentary party Meeting

Today BJP/NDA Parliamentary party Meeting was held at Samvidhan Sadan, Parliament House. National Democratic Alliance’s Parliamentary Party Meeting at Central Hall, Old Parliament Building.

The BJP-led NDA comprises the Janata Dal-United, Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena Party, Janata Dal Secular, Shiv Sena, National Congress Party, Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Rashtriya Lok Dal, and others.
Modi addressed the meeting and said “President has appointed me as PM-designate and I have informed her that swearing-in ceremony may be held on Sunday.I will hand over list of Ministers to President Murmu before swearing-in”. Earlier in the day, Mr. Modi was chosen as the leader of the National Democratic Alliance parliamentary party, paving the way for him to become the Prime Minister for the third time.

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi said he would strive to ensure unanimity in all decisions of his next government and asserted that the NDA is an organic alliance committed to the principle of ‘nation first’. He met BJP veterans L.K. Advani and Murli Manohar Joshi at their residences in Delhi, before making claim to form the government at the Centre for a third consecutive term.
