During winter migratory Birds travel some 3500 kms from its nesting ground in Central Europe to spend the winter at Nalsarovar in Gujarat.
Today Collector Ahmedabad has decided to organise bird safari in the district town of NalSarovar, a famous bird sanctuary of Gujarat. To attract bird watchers both professionals and amateurs as tourist starting from Feb 6 to 16, 2016.
NalSarovar is the largest bird sanctuary in the country. It has been identified as one of fifteen important wetland of India by the national committee on wetlands for intensive conservation.
There are other tourist attractions like tent facility for accomodation, boating, bird watching, best bird film, photo gallery, entertainment, bonefire activity at night, food, shopping a unique theme pavillion giving information about migratory birds to Nal Sarovar.
