Musical Genius awarded by Gujarat Chief Minister at Tana-Riri Classical Music Festival

The town Vadnagar is well-known for preserving remnants of the Buddhist heritage. The story of self-respect and self-respect has been immortalized by Tana-Riri forever. CM Patel added that with guidance and inspiration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Tana-Riri Music College has been started at Performing Arts College in Vadnagar. Instrumental and Six months short courses in Indian dance tradition are running. Degree diploma courses are also planned. At present, 130 students are studying and becoming experts.
CM Congratulated on behalf of six crore citizens of the state. It is worth mentioning that Tana-Riri Festival was started by the then Chief Minister of state and now Prime Minister Narendra Modi in year 2007.
Two-days musical festival is celebrated every year on the day of Kartak Sud Nom by the state government in memory of music empress Tana-Riri. The Tana-Riri Sangeet Sanman Award for Tana-Riri Mahotsav was started in 2010 by the then Chief Minister of the state and present Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. The Tana-Riri Sangeet Sanman Award was conferred on famous music duo Lata and Usha Mangeshkar in the first year in 2010 by the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi. Kishori Amonkar in 2013, Ms. Parveen Begum Sultan in 2014 and Dr. Prabha Atre was given the award for the year 2017. In 2014, Mrs. Vidushi Manjubahen Mehta, Ahmedabad and Dr. Mrs. Lalit J. Ravan Mehta, Bangalore. In 2013, the award was presented to Padma Bhushan Dr. Smt. N. Rajam and Ms. Vidushi Rupande Shah. While the award was presented to Padma Shri Asha Bhonsle in 2012. In 2016, the award was presented to Ms. Ashwini Bhinde Deshpande and Ms. Piyu Sarkhel. Kavita Krishnamurthy, Mumbai and Ms. Dr. Viraj Amar Bhatt will be given to Ahmedabad. In this award, each award was given a check of Rs. 450,000, shawl and copperplate by the Chief Minister.
In addition, Padma Shri Kavita Krishnamurthy and Dr. Viraj Amar Bhatt sang violin was played by Dr. Shri L. Subramaniam on the first day of inaugural program of Tana-Riri Mahotsav.
On the occasion, Health Minister Hrishikesh Patel, Social Leader Somabhai Modi, Minister in charge of Mehsana District Jagdish Panchal, Pankaj Bhatt of Gujarat State Sangeet Natak Academy, Shri. , Patan MP Bharatsinh Dabhi, Secretary for Youth Services and Cultural Activities Shri Ashwini Kumar, District Collector Udit Agarwal, District Development Officer Dr. Om Prakash, Leading Jashu Patel, Leading MS Patel, District Panchayat President Prahladbhai Parmar, MLA were present at the festival.
