Recent, Mumbai Malvani hooch tragedy in which more than 100 people were killed gets link trailing upto Gujarat. Mumbai Crime Branch is probing source of poisonous toxic chemical used to make hooch in south Gujarat. In this connection, Mumbai Crime Branch has arrested 2 persons Deepak Patel and Irfan for supply Methanol used to make hooch from Surat .
After consuming poisonous hooch in Jurassic Park of Malvani area. Some started inflammation in eyes and stomach complaints and some more people were just collapsed. There were immediately taken to hospital. Some people had died before reaching the hospital. In view of the seriousness of the tragedy, Mumbai Police handed over investigation to Mumbai Crime Branch.
