Muhammad Ali, renowned boxer and civil rights champion who famously called himself “The Greatest” and then spent a lifetime living up to the billing, is dead.
On Friday Ali died at a Phoenix-area hospital, where he had spent the past few days being treated for respiratory complications. He was 74.
Ali battled for 32-year with Parkinson’s disease. He was the three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer.
