Recently, a shocking news came up of teasing by 41 year old guy to a 13 year old minor girl of vice president of one reputed corporate company in a Goa to Ahmedabad flight. After take off, the guy sitting next to minor girl started teasing her. Minor girl was travelling alone in the evening flight.
The guy has been booked under POCSO Act (The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences ). Wife of corporate vice president and his daughter are staying in Ahmedabad. Minor girl had gone to Goa on vacation to maternal relatives. Her uncle sent her by evening flight on May 27 by Indigo airlines. The flight reached ahmedabad at 2:50 hrs in night. The victim girl went home with her parents in car. After going home she narrated about happening in flight. Next day morning on May 28, with an intention to teach lesson to guy her parents went to Sardarnagar Police Station. Sardarnagar PI Police Inspector VR Patel has demanded list of passengers on the incident day and started investigation, as per sources.
Yesterday, Sardarnagar police arrested 41-year old Gandhinagar based businessman Ashok Makwana in the alleged molestation case of 13-year old girl onboard Indigo’s Goa-Ahmedabad flight on May 28. During the interrogation, Makwana claimed that he was sleeping during the flight and by mistake he might have touched his co-passenger but he did not do anything intentionally. Makwana will be produced before local court today afternoon.
