At that time, another factory fire broke out in Ahmedabad yesterday night. Massive fire broke out in a wooden godown called Yogeshwar Timber Mart near Sarkhej Police Station in Ahmedabad. A fire broke out in Wood Godown. 24 vehicles of fire brigade reached at the spot to extinguish fire.
Help of hydraulic crane was also taken. All surrounding residents’ homes were evacuated as part of increased fire vigilance. Top fire brigade officials also rushed to the spot and joined rescue operation.
The fire was brought under control by the fire team two hours later due to a short circuit. Preliminary information indicates that the fire was caused by a short circuit. No casualties were reported in the fire.
