The event was attended by two distinguished athletes of India, Ms Dutee Chand and Mrs Gurbakhsh Singh Sandhu, who shared their inspiring journey and valuable insights with the students.

Indian wrestling and boxing coach Gurbakhsh Singh Sandhu shared his expertise and coaching strategy. He stressed on the importance of not only physical strength but also mental and emotional strength in athletic performance. Drawing from his experiences of leading the Indian team to numerous victories and record-breaking achievements, Ms Sandhu highlighted the importance of holistic training.
To further engage students and promote a healthy lifestyle, the Department of Physical Education organized a fitness challenge. While planks were measured by the maximum amount of time held, push-ups and squats were evaluated based on the maximum repetitions completed in a minute. Surprisingly, Dutee Chand participated in the push-up competition for women, which showed her commitment to inspire and encourage young athletes. Many students participated in the fitness challenge and all the winners were given prizes.
