In Ahmedabad city at Ghatlodia, incident of chain snatching happened with a lady Vasantiben wife of Ramchandra Iyer , age 65 years ,Resident of Rajvi Tower near Laxmi Gathiya Rathni Gali on Gurukul Road, Memnagar. On 25th January 2025 At around 7:45 pm, while walking past Hi-Tech Solution Building in Gurukul Road near Laxmi Gathiya Rathni Gali an unknown man came from behind and snatched away her Golden Mangalsutra worth Rs. 1,25 lakhs from her neck and ran away. Vasantiben Iyer has registered a police complaint in this regard at Ghatlodia Police Station. Investigation into the crime is being conducted by PSI Shri HD Joshi.
