Lot of reshuffle likely in Gujarat police circle Gujarat government transfers 74 IPS and SPS police officers in the state consequent to superannuation of Gujarat DGP Director General of Police Shivanand Jha on 31 July 2020 and then Ahmedabad Police Commissioner Ashish Bhatia taking over as new Gujarat DGP.
Sanjay Srivastava was appointed as new Police Commissioner of Ahmedabad and Ajay Tomar as new Commissioner of Police in Vadodara and Anupam Singh Gehlot appointed as the head of IB Intelligence Bureau.
