BJP spokesperson Pravin Darekar announced that Devendra Fadnavis is likely to reclaim his position as chief minister, saying, “We knew we would win, but never expected such an overwhelming result.” As votes are counted, the BJP leads in 125 of the 288 seats, signaling a decisive mandate.
