In Lok Rakshak Dal paper leak case, last night prime accused Yashpal Solanki was arrested from Virpur in Mahisagar district.
A joint team of Gujarat ATS, Ahmedabad Police Crime Branch and Gandhinagar Police tracked the accused , who as a contractual employee of Vadodara Municipal Corporation VMC.
He had gone with 30 applicants to Delhi to get exam paper. All had given blank cheques to Delhi gang worth Rs 5 lakhs for exam paper. Yashpal himself was applicant of LRD exam.
He had come to appear for exam in Surat by road from Vadodara, when he came to know about paper leak, he fled the site.
Yashpal is said to be the key link between the gang which leaked the paper in Delhi and those who bought them. With arrest of prime accused more names and involvement of big shots are likely to come to surface in the case.
