30 boxes of Liquor seized in poll-bound Gujarat from Vav taluka
Today on outset of second phase of Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 a big stock of liquor was seized by police from Dharnidhar Agro Product Yard in Vav Taluka.
30 boxes of wine bottles were seized from the market yard.
It is believed that stocking of liquor was done to lure voters and confirm seats by certain political group.

Rs 1 crore worth liquor seized in poll-bound Gujarat
Today in Ahmedabad, from a godown behind Khoraj Petrol pump near Khodiyar container depot on Gandhinagar Sarkhej Highway 3,500 to 4,000 liquor boxes of imported wine were seized by Adalaj police surveillance squad after raid.
Huge quantity of wine was seized by Adalaj police before Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017. Gandhinagar police also joins the operation.
Based on a clue , PI Vaghela had conducted a raid on godown. Police followed bootlegger, could not arrest them. On checking 3,500 to 4,000 costing more than Rs 1 crore.
Adalaj police has started counting of bottles. Police has started investigation, from where it came and where to be distributed.
