Eight new Municipal Corporations will be formed in Gujarat state a proposal in prevailing Budget Session of Gujarat Assembly in Gandhinagar.
There will be a proposal to convert 8 Municipalities into Metropolitan Municipal Corporations including Navsari, Gandhidham, Morbi, Surendranagar, Wadvan, Vapi, Anand and Mehsana . Eight Municipalities will be converted into Municipal Corporations in future.
Number of Municipal Corporations in Gujarat will become 16 in near future. An important announcement was made during the state budget session.
Many big announcements have also been made for Ahmedabad city in the budget 2024.
A decision has been taken to extend length of Sabarmati Riverfront.The Riverfront will be extended from Ahmedabad upto Gandhinagar.
