Today, after resignation of Manohar Parrikar as CM, Goa Health Minister Laxmikant Parsekar has been sworn in as Goa’s new Chief Minister.

Mr Parsekar was earlier unanimously chosen as CM candidate, BJP leader Rajiv Pratap Rudy announced today after a party meeting. BJP’s central leaders BS Yeddyurappa and Rudy were observers at the meeting to elect the new Chief Minister of Goa.
