Recently in Katargam, of Surat, Incident of rape by saint of Swaminarayan sect of Vadtal swaminarayan temple has come up. The 24 year old saint was looking after kitchen affairs who allegedly raped 20 year old lady on pretext of giving money.
Lady was in need of money as her Father is a heart patient and her mother had a fracture on her hand. 15 days before when lady came to the saint, she was raped by the saint. Rooms next to kitchen are provided to saints for living in temple. She was called in the noon, when no other saints were around and she was raped by the saint.
Lady was raped twice in a span of 15 days, so frustrated lady finally narrated the tragedy to her father, who took legal action against Swaminarayan saint.
Lady has been sent for medical check up to the hospital.
