On Friday, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel declared Kutch district as drought affected region due to inadequate rains. 353 villages of Kutch have been declared drought affected. 79 villages as drought affected whereas 274 villages as semi-drought affected.CM instructed state administration to take prompt relief measures in this regard.
Instructions have been given to administration to provide 4 kg of fodder per cattle at Rs 2 per kg. Subsidy of Rs 25 to cattle of Panjrapole and aid of Rs 25 per day to cattle in camps have been announced by Gujarat CM.
