During two days old Raid on Gambling club by state monitoring cell in Khadia area of Ahmedabad city, 35 gamblers were arrested by Khadia police.
The raid by monitoring cell was done based a tip. The club was run by Montu Gandhi, was has gone underground after the incident.
Cash worth Rs 3 lakhs has been seized by police.
Gujarat DGP Shivanand Jha has viewed the matter very seriously and as an urgent immediate action suspended NN Pargi PSI Police Sub Inspector of Khadia Police Station holding him responsible for gambling in the area.
