Today morning Cricketing legend and former Indian Skipper Kapil Dev was in Surat. Kapil arrived from Delhi at Surat airport.
Kapil is in Surat for launch of flood lights at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. First class matches like Irani Trophy etc are not played in absence of flood lights at the stadium.
The step is a preparation towards getting IPL Indian Premier League 2018 T-20 matches to Surat.
The lights have been brought from Motera.
