In Chennai’s Apollo hospital Jayalalitha, 68, Tamil Nadu chief minister died at 11:30 at  pm on Monday she suffered a heart attack on Sunday night.

Thousands of her supporters and fans got emotional who were praying for her  early recovery.Tight security outside hospital have been imposed by state administration in the southern state amid fears of unrest among her supporters. She remained as Tamil Nadu chief minister 4 times. She had been receiving treatment for more than 2 months.

She performed in many south movies and a very popular star turned politician.

She belonged to AIADMK party
