The state government, which had been angry since Wednesday morning, had ordered detailed probe into the whole matter and ordered appropriate action to be taken.
At the same time, women’s organizations of Jamnagar city have also come to fore in this matter and they have warned administration in very clear words that if proper action is not taken against the culprits within 48 hours, then women’s organizations will not remain silent. More than 2,000 patients were receiving treatment and More than 500 attendants were appointed to supervise them.
Serious allegations were made against their supervisor by some of the female attendants. The supervisor was accused of forcing them to have a physical relationship. There were serious allegations that a female attendant would be fired if she did not agree. The matter of serious allegations leveled by female attendant was taken seriously by Chief Minister and Minister of State for Home Affairs. The Chief Minister had a phone conversation with Jamnagar Collector today morning and ordered to investigate the matter properly and take action. Following the order of Chief Minister, an inquiry committee has been constituted by Jamnagar Collector to investigate the whole matter. The committee consists of a provincial officer, ASP and dean of dental college. The committee has recently started taking statements from female attendants.
