Today ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation’s yet another success, GSLV-F11 lifts-off carrying communication satellite GSAT 7A with a mass of 2250 kg onboard from Sriharikota at 4.10 pm (IST).
GSLV-F11 places GSAT-7A into GTO Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. It was launched fom Second Launch Pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre SDSC, Sriharikota.
GSAT-7A mission is configured with ISRO’s 2000 kg satellite bus and its transponders operate in Ku band range.
GSLV-F11 is the 13th flight of GLSV Geosynchronous Launch Vehicle mission and 7th flight with indigenous Cryo stage.
Chairman ISRO Dr K Sivan congratulated ISRO scientists and engineers.
