ISRO’s GSLV-F08 Successfully launch GSAT-6A satellite
Today Wednesday on March 29 The Launch of GSLV-F08 carrying GSAT-6A took place at 16:56 hrs (IST) from the Second Launch Pad (SLP) in Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, Sriharikota.
GSLV-F08 12th flight of Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) and Sixth flight with indigenous Cryogenic Stage placed GSAT-6A communication satellite into the orbit.
GSLV launch vehicle had a Vikas Engine.
Launch was witnessed by ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation Chairman K Sivan with a team of ISRO scientists. ISRO chief congratulated ISRO team on the phenomenal success of mission.
