Today on account of International Women’s Day different and special programs are held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat and India. On this day special women oriented programs of award ceremony, women empowerment, speech and lecture by leading ladies from all walks of life are arranged.
In Gujarat, where chief minister of the state herself is a woman had discussions conducted by women legislators. Womens Day was celebrated amid great fervor at Gujarat Assembly. 3000 women from across Gujarat met Gujarat CM on Womens Day celebration. Had lovely time interacting and sensitizing them about women-oriented health-welfare initiatives undertaken by Gujarat Government.
