Today, International Kite Festival 2015 was inauguarated by Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel in Ahmedabad.
Every year many Kite Flyers from foreign countries and different states of India participate in the festival and become part of the celebration in Gujarat.
This year too foreign Kite Flyers from Argentina, Afghanista, Bangladesh, Belgium, Bhutan, Botswana, Congo, Ethiopia, Fiji, France, Ghana, Guyana, Holland, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Ukarine, USA, UK.
Also Flyers from parts of Gujarat along with state participansts from Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and West Bengal.
There are many kites of different shapes and sizes which gives novelty to participants and watchers of the festival. It makes skyes of Gujarat very colorful and brings lot of festivity.
