Special Cell of Delhi Police arrested from Saharanpur of Uttar Pradesh an alleged Indian Mujahideen operative, believed to be the ‘technical expert’ of the banned terror organization. Ejaz Sheikh, working with Pune’s Call Center, allegedly helped IM operatives with fake identity cards and forged documents.
He is said to be associated with the group since 2009 and was allegedly involved in several attacks including Jama Masjid blast.Police claims his arrest from Saharanpur suggests the group was planning an attack in western Uttar Pradesh.
