Today Actor-model Harnaaz Sandhu was awarded Miss Universe 2021 crown, 21 years after Lara Dutta won the title in year 2000. The 21-years-old girl hailing from Punjab represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, which was held in Israel this year. She was crowned by her predecessor Andrea Meza of Mexico, who won the pageant in 2020. “I am immensely grateful to the Almighty, my parents, and the Miss India Organization for guiding and supporting me throughout. Loads of love to everyone who prayed and wished the crown for me,” Ms Sandhu said.
Harnaaz Sandhu is only the third Indian to have won the title of Miss Universe after her predecessor actors Sushmita Sen in 1994 and Lara Dutta in 2000 won the pageant before her.
Harnaaz has once again brought proud for India and endorsed Indian beauty globally through an international beauty pageant event.
Harnaaz gets applauded and felicitations from all around the world.
