On December 17, Gary Quinlan, the chair,UN Security Council Committee, referred to Saeed as “Hafiz Mohammad Sahib” in a communique.It was on the activities of banned terror organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba founded by Saeed, pursuing earlier UN resolutions the al Qaeda and individuals and entities associated with it.
