A quantity of fake tickets have been seized before India-Pakistan match of ICC World Cup in Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad Crime Branch has detained a youth with forged tickets. Ahmedabad Police has seized more than 150 fake tickets of the match. Police has taken action before India vs Pakistan match. Fake ticktes scam has been busted. More than 150 fake tickets have been seized by Police. Raid in Krishna Xerox of Bodakdev has been conducted. In which 108 fake tickets of match have been seized. 25 pages of readily printed fake tickets have been seized. Color print of 3 tickets per page have been made. Crime branch has nabbed Culprits before the tickets were sold. Fake tickets worth Rs 2000 were printed. Four accused have been arrested by crime branch.

There is a drastic increase in hotel prices due to cricket match. Hotels in and around the stadium up to Gandhinagar are fully booked. There is a thirty to fifty times increase in prices. Many hotels around Narendra Modi Stadium are full. The price of a hotel room with rupees 2000 to 4000 is seen as 10000 to 12000.
