During his recent visit to Yamanashi Hydrogen Company, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel visited Komekurayama Electric Power Storage Technology Research Site and other units. CM Patel learned details of various technological operations.
The Chief Minister spoke about the initiatives of State and Central Governments of India and new renewable policy of the Gujarat Government to achieve the target of Net Zero Carbon Emissions by the year 2070 under leadership of Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
Net Zero refers to the balance between the amount of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) that’s produced and the amount that’s removed from the atmosphere. It can be achieved through a combination of emission reduction and emission removal.
Komekurayama Solar Power Station is a 10MW solar PV power project. It is located in Yamanashi, Japan. According to GlobalData, who tracks and profiles over 170,000 power plants worldwide, the project is currently active. It has been developed in a single phase.
Yamanashi Hydrogen Co. is looking to invest in India to set up a hydrogen electrolyzer manufacturing facility. CM Patel visited Japan along with senior officials from Gujarat state administration and businessmen of VGGS 2024 Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit 2024. Bhupendra Patel will meet Indian Community in Tokyo and Kobe. Later he will visit Singapore.
