With completion of Lok Sabha 2024 election in Gujarat, Income Tax department has taken action in Surat and Morbi. As per media sources more than 100 officers were probing 12 locations of Aishwarya Group at Surat textile industry and a business group associated in ceramic sector in Morbi.
Organised raids and surveys targeted textile big shots and were extended to affiliated enterprises, including a notable coal businessman linked to the Group.
