Today the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has issued an alert in Gujarat of possible infiltration attempt after finding of an abandoned Pakistani fishing boat was found in Koteshwar in the wee hours. As per IB officials, some 8 to 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists have possibly infiltrated into the state from the Kutch region. Places such as Dwarka, Somnath temple and other temples close to the sea are likely soft target by the terrorists. Security has been tighten up in the coastal and the border areas of Gujarat. Subsequently, security has also been tightened at important installations and crowded places.
