IB alert to Gujarat on Independence Day; security beefed up

With Independence Day approaching of 15th August, IB, Intelligence Bureau has issued nation wide alert. Gujarat could be on the hit list of terrorist groups. Based on directive from Home Ministry security in Gujarat state has been beefed up inluding Public Places, religious sites and in bordering regions. Gujarat is always is a soft target with border on Pakistan.Gujarat Home Minister Rajni Patel said security has been intensified and state police has been alerted.

Also alert has been sounded in Gujarat, Mumbai, Delhi and in Jammu & Kashmir.
