Due to fast moving cyclonic storm HUD HUD, the east coast Railways has opened round the Clock disaster management cell at Head Quarter of East Coast of Railways at Rail Sadan and at Divisional Headquarters at Visakhapatnam, Khurda Road and Sambalpur. Special Teams by Railways have been deployed for early restoration of tracks, signaling system and electrification etc., Safety of Train Operations, to run train if, there will be no electric supply. Red Alert has been sounded in coastal areas, authorities is keeping vigil at all the stations between Bhubaneswar and Visakhapatnam.
