Hindu temple vandalised in Washington with hate speech

In Seattle Metropolitan area of Washington, a Hindu temple has been vandalised with hate speech in the, sending shock waves through the community in the area. Authorities are investigating in the mater.

The incident took place when unidentified  people made swastika and painted “Get Out” on one of the walls of the temple. It is one of the largest Hindu temples in the entire North West.

On Tuesday, the temple is celebrating Mahashivratri.

“We have no idea, who did it,” temple management said. While the temple has been there for nearly two decades, the construction on the second phase of the current building began recently. The Hindu American Foundation (HAF) condemned the incident.
