Special Helpline Numbers for Vadodara students stranded in Ukraine have been announced. Students stuck up in Ukraine from Gujarat are being brought through road route via Poland. Also options to rescue students through Romania s being arranged by respective university/college.
In view of prevailing situation, Gujarat government has announced Special Helpline for students stranded in Ukraine, said Collector Atul Gore. Special numbers have also been announced for it by Non-Resident Gujarat Division.
He said that Indian government has started 24-hours helpline. Delhi based control room numbers are + 911123012113, + 911123014104, +911123017905, 1800118797. The numbers declared by Gujarat State Non-Resident Department are 079 232-51312 and 079 232-51316. Help and guidance can also be obtained by calling on this number.

Earlier in the day, the Indian embassy in Ukraine had informed that alternative arrangements were being made for evacuating Indian nationals. The Indian mission had asked all citizens to carry their passports and other relevant documents along with themselves at all times.
The Indian embassy had further said that it will give further information as soon as arrangements had been finalized so that Indian nationals can relocate to the western part of the country.
Indian nationals were advised to closely monitor the Embassy website and social media posts for updates. Besides, the embassy had also given out details of active helplines for its nationals. The numbers are:
