In Gujarat Rain Forecast, Rain of Central Gujarat region. Red alert for rain in 10 districts till 7 pm.
Parts of Central and south Gujarat received heavy rains. In Vadodara Due to heavy rains there was water logging at many places. Also weather agency IMD has issued a new forecast of rain till 7 pm today Wednesday .
In new forecast there is red alert for rain in 10 districts. Heavy rain in Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Arvalli, Kheda, Anand, Vadodara, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Bharuch, Surat. There is yellow alert in Jamnagar, Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh and Gir Somnath giving indications of heavy rain. Apart from this, orange alert has been given in the remaining districts of the state.
Presently three systems are formed over Gujarat, due to which there can be very heavy rains. It is raining heavily in most of parts of the state. Heavy downpour of rain is going on in Central Gujarat and South Gujarat since this morning. Indian Meteorological Department has predicted extremely heavy rain in Anand in next 24 hours. Along with this, extremely heavy rain is predicted in many areas. IMD has predicted heavy rains with thunderstorms in Gujarat for 5 days.
