Heavy rain predicted in Gujarat from today

Heavy rain is predicted in Gujarat from today. Rainy conditions will remain in entire Gujarat for 5 days. Heavy rain is predicted across the state on 7th and 8th July.


Torrential rains lash in Kutch and Saurashtra on July 8. Fishermen advised not to venture into the sea for 5 days.


“Heavy rain forecast in Gujarat for 4 days from today”. Orange alert was announced in one district of Gujarat and yellow alert in 8 districts today.


Rain alert continues in most states of India including Delhi. Rain showers are likely to continue over southern peninsular India and northern Maharashtra till tomorrow and over Gujarat till July 8. The local meteorological department has predicted heavy to very heavy rains in some areas of Gujarat today.
According to weather agency, heavy rainfall is forecast in some parts of Gujarat. Heavy rain is forecast in Valsad today. Orange alert has been declared in Valsad today. While yellow alert has been declared in Jamnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath, Vadodara, Surat, Navsari, Chotaudepur and Dang.


According to the Meterological department, today heavy rain is forecast in Vadodara, Surat, Chota Udepur, Dang, Navsari, Jamnagar, Amreli, Gir Somnath. While Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Kutch, Botad, Morbi, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Patan, Mehsana, Sabrakantha, Banaskantha, Aravalli, Mahisagar, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Bharuch, Narmada, Tapi received moderate to heavy rains. Ahmedabad city is likely to experience heavy rain on July 7 and 8.
