Today after heavy rains in Gujarat, Valsad platform was entirely submerged and railway tracks were completely water logged. 3 Express and 2 local Trains were delayed by 2 to 5 hours as rail tracks waterlogged.
Ahmedabad Mumbai Central Duronto Express, Kutch Express, Karnavati Express, Double Decker Express and Bangalore Bhagat Ki Kothi Express trains of Western Railway were delayed. Some schools were also closed due to heavy rain in Valsad.
Duranto Express was running late by about 4 hours.
Even heavy rain lashed in Surat and south Gujarat.
